Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is currently seeking qualified licensed Clinical Psychologists to fill exciting new positions in our True North Resiliency Program at locations around the country.

Our Clinical Psychologist support both military and civilian Airmen—and their families—in specific Air Force organizations that experience increased operations tempo, potential social and physical isolation, frequent transitions, and other life events that may be a catalyst for negative psychological, professional, and domestic outcomes.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen — Must be able to obtain and maintain the proper security clearance

  • Substantive professional knowledge of clinical psychology, human performance enhancement within neurocognitive and psychosocial domains, and improving personal resiliency

  • Expert knowledge of evidence-based treatments and standards of clinical practice for a full range of psychological disorders to plan and provide treatment to patients

  • Knowledge of administration, scoring, and interpretation of select psychological and psychosocial measures to properly assess patient’s and family’s needs

  • Skill to prepare accurate written documentation in patient care and provide guidance and consultant services to medical professionals, managers, and clients
