Acquisition Program Managers (PM) utilize processes established by the U.S. Air Force to develop, test, produce, sustain, and deploy every asset it depends upon to maintain its edge. Acquisition PMs oversee the entire lifecycle of every asset from inception to retirement and safe disposal.
As an Acquisition PM intern, you'll work shoulder to shoulder with other PMs, the men and women of our armed forces, as well as other Civilian professionals representing multiple disciplines on challenging and rewarding projects and programs to ensure each stakeholder is aligned in meeting the cost, schedule, and performance goals of each initiative. Programs span across a multitude of capabilities, including weapons, aircraft, space, nuclear, cyberspace, emerging technologies, and more. Within these programs, you'll help plan, monitor performance, and determine the resources required to achieve each milestone, gaining invaluable real-world experience and making real contributions to Air Force missions worldwide.
