The Air Force defends our nation’s interests against enemies of all kinds, and in the 21st century one of the most highly contested arenas is the digital world. AFCS employs hundreds of highly trained specialists to help maintain and advance Air Force leadership and protection of cyberspace.
Our Cyber and IT teams support complex, specialized hardware and software systems at more than 80 locations around the country and around the globe, guarding vital intelligence while keeping our data safe and flowing freely.
Our IT and cyber systems are some of the most complex in the world and require the best and brightest thinkers and creative minds to help Air Force stay ahead of the threat. AFCS computer engineers, network specialists, data managers, security specialists, and cybersecurity pros are on the front lines every day in the ongoing battle to keep our systems, infrastructure, and digital information secure.
Unlike our counterparts in business and industry, we at AFCS are committed to something far more important than just the bottom line. We work every day in the defense of our nation and the values we hold dear.
