Paving the way to a successful future.
The U.S. Air Force employs more than 170,000 civilians in more than 600 occupations and 80 locations across the nation and around the world. Of those employees, thousands are engineers and other professionals, responsible for everything from maintaining Air Force facilities and infrastructure to drafting, surveying, and planning of environmental stewardship and disaster preparedness. AFCS’ Civil Engineering team plays a crucial role in accelerating change and innovation to keep the Air Force ready for everything and prepared for anything.
Throughout your PAQ Internship, you’ll work shoulder to shoulder with current AFCS Civilian and Military Engineers on meaningful and rewarding challenges, gaining extraordinary experience during your two to three-year training program—a comprehensive development program, with annual promotions and early salary increases granted based upon performance and supervisory approval. Upon successful completion of the program, the PALACE Acquire Program offers a permanent position at AFCS.
