Air Force Civilian Service is seeking Operations Research Analysts and Computer Scientists to work within a highly specialized team of United States Air Force Analysts and Computer Scientists at the Pentagon near Washington DC. It will be your role to assess future warfighting capabilities in order to inform and advise the decision-making of senior Department of Defense officials.

As an Operational Research Analyst or Computer Scientist, you’ll share your expertise in a classified environment with a diverse team of operations and intelligence experts and other specialists focused on analyzing and evaluating the cross-domain capability of the world’s militaries in relation to competition and wartime combat demands.

QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in operations research or a related technical discipline such as mathematics, computer science, one of the physical sciences, or engineering. Advanced degrees are preferred.
Must obtain and maintain Special Sensitive (Top Secret) clearance.
This is a drug testing designated position, subject to random drug testing.
Must have experience with or extensive knowledge of Air Force operational cyber.
Must exhibit a high degree of judgment, resourcefulness, originality, and the ability to foresee the impact of changing technology.
