Build your career — and the future
of military technology

Air Force and Space Force Civil Engineers (CEs) are responsible for the planning, operation, maintenance, construction management, and engineering of the Air Force's and Space Force’s largest weapon system – its installations. Our CE Career Field is comprised of more than 13,000 professionals encompassing a variety of occupations beyond traditional engineering, including architects, environmental professionals, biologists, planners, and more!

CE civilians are critical members of the U.S. Air Force and Space Force, providing a broad skill set and leadership needed to secure our nation’s defense.

During your PCIP internship, you will work shoulder to shoulder with current AFCS Civilian Engineers on challenging and rewarding projects, where you will make real contributions and gain invaluable experience. You may qualify for a full-time position in our PALACE ACQUIRE (PAQ) program once you complete your degree.
