LOGISTICS

Be the continuity behind the command

Logisticians work around the clock and around the world, putting people, systems, and supplies in the right place at the right time to support all of America’s warfighters. The Logistics Career Field is the largest career field in the Department of the Air Force and Space Force, comprised of approximately 150 job series concentrated in four main workforce categories. Those categories are Life Cycle Logistics, Supply Management, Maintenance Support, and Deployment, Distribution, and Transportation. Logisticians are involved in weapons systems procurement, testing, initial and full operational capability, upgrade and repair, and disposition. A true cradle-to-grave operation for practically every major system in the Air Force and Space Forces inventory. There is a saying that goes, “Amateurs talk tactics, but Professionals do Logistics.”

During your PCIP internship, you will work shoulder to shoulder with current Logisticians on challenging and rewarding projects, where you will make real contributions and gain invaluable real-world experience. You may qualify for a full-time position in our PALACE ACQUIRE (PAQ) program once you complete your degree.
