Hiring Managers at Tinker Air Force Base will evaluate resumes submitted and contact highly qualified candidates for in-person interviews. Interviews will be conducted on Tuesday, July 28, and Wednesday, July 29. A limited number of interview opportunities will be available to fill and potentially extend job offers the same day. Applications for candidates not contacted will continue to receive consideration for future opportunities.
Thursday, July 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Tinker AFB will host an open to the public informational event at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City. Pre-registration or application is not required to attend. Learn about two-page resumes, future opportunities, and what it is like working as an Air Force Civilian employee. Doors will close to the public at 1:00 p.m.

The Industrial Powerhouse. The OC-ALC is composed of our hands-on, heavy-maintenance and engineering team. Over 9,000 civilian professionals perform complex structural modifications, engine overhauls, and complete rebuilds on massive strategic aircraft like the B-52 and KC-135. If you are an engineer, aircraft mechanic, welder, or machinist, this is where you build the future.
Base Operations & Support Backbone. Operating Tinker AFB requires the same services, safety, and infrastructure as running a mid-sized civilian city. The 72 ABW provides the critical backbone of the installation, including emergency response, airfield operations, IT support, and facilities engineering for over 27,000 personnel. If you are a civil engineer, police officer, firefighter, or communications specialist, this is where you protect the mission.
The Software Directorate. Headquartered at Robins AFB, Georgia, AFSC/SW was founded in 2024 and consolidates software efforts across the Air Force to provide process improvement and engineering expertise in software development, modification, sustainment and engineering services for cost-effective, high-quality and timely software products.
