As of September 1, 2025, all federal resumes must be no more than two (2) pages.
During your development period, you’ll work side-by-side with U.S. Air Force and Space Force professionals, providing trusted counsel to senior leaders and decision-makers.
You’ll help develop command information strategies and products, enhance and support Airman and Guardian morale and readiness, strengthen the bonds between military communities and the American people, and leverage the power of information in support of global influence and deterrence.
Participants are eligible for tuition assistance for graduate studies, all while earning a full salary and benefits. Completion of the program can lead to a permanent PA specialist position with AFCS.
Civilian Public Affairs positions exist at every Air Force and Space Force installation in the continental United States, as well as Germany, Italy, Japan, Hawaii, and Alaska. Positions range from base level accomplishing a myriad missions in support of commander objectives to major command and AF Headquarters positions focused on developing and implementing enterprise-level policies and programs.
