Acquisitions is the process used by the U.S. Air Force to negotiate and procure the design, development, testing, and deployment of every item it depends upon to maintain its edge. Whether aircraft, new or existing technology, software, satellites, or other equipment used by the Air Force in its mission, Acquisition professionals oversee the entire lifecycle of every item from inception to retirement and safe disposal.

As a salaried PCIP Acquisition Program Manager (PM) intern, you’ll work shoulder to shoulder with the men and women of our armed forces as well as other Civilian professionals representing multiple disciplines to ensure each stakeholder is aligned in meeting the cost, scheduling, and performance goals of each initiative. You’ll help plan, monitor performance, and determine the resources required to achieve each milestone. Upon successful completion of your PCIP internship, you may qualify for a permanent full-time, paid position in our PALACE Acquire (PAQ) Program once your degree is completed.
