Scientists and Engineers play a central role in maintaining Air Force superiority in air, space, and cyberspace. We work on the cutting edge of research and development in advanced Air Force laboratories and dedicated facilities around the country to develop, deliver, test, and sustain war-winning capabilities.
During your PCIP internship, you will work shoulder to shoulder with the 16,000 Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) Scientists & Engineers around the globe on challenging and rewarding projects, where you will make real contributions and gain invaluable real-world experience. You may qualify for a full-time position in our PALACE Acquire (PAQ) Program once your degree is completed.

QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY:
U.S. citizenship required
Full-time undergraduate student (sophomore or junior) or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university
Pursuing a BS, MS, or BS/MS in STEM-related fields
GPA 2.95 or above
Minimum of 60 semester credit hours
Ability to obtain Security Clearance (funded by USAF)
POTENTIAL TO TRANSITION TO FULL-TIME PALACE ACQUIRE (PAQ) INTERN PROGRAM AFTER GRADUATING:
A formal 2-3 year training and career development track

Annual performance-based promotions while in the PAQ program
Placement into a permanent AFCS position as a Scientist or Engineer upon successful PAQ program completion
